Kaya FC-Iloilo can confirm that team captain Hali Long will join Thai Women’s League champions BGC–College of Asian Scholars on loan for the preliminary stage of the 2025 AFC Women’s Champions League.

Long, captain of both Kaya Women and the Philippine Women’s National Football Team, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Thai champions. She recently scored her 22nd international goal for the Philippines at the MSIG Serenity Cup and led Kaya to consecutive PFF Women’s League titles, capping the recently concluded season with the MVP award. A fortress in defense and an influential leader on and off the pitch, Long’s presence will be a significant boost to CAS as they prepare for continental competition.

Stallion Laguna—winners of the 2024 PFF Women’s Cup—will represent the Philippines in this year’s tournament, and the club wishes them the best of luck on Asia’s biggest stage.

Kaya FC-Iloilo proudly represented the country in the inaugural edition of the competition in 2024, making history by securing their first-ever points in Champions League football—across both men’s and women’s teams—through draws against Iran’s Bam Khatoon and, fittingly, Thailand’s College of Asian Scholars.

The club extends congratulations and best wishes to Hali as she takes on this challenge with their former rivals, and look forward to welcoming her back stronger than ever after the campaign.
