Kaya Futbol Club statement on Adam Reekie’s resignation

Kaya Futbol Club would like to announce that Adam Reekie has tendered his resignation as Kaya’s head coach, effective immediately.

Adam was named the new head coach in early September 2014. With seven games played in the 2015 United Football League (UFL) under his tutelage, the club sits at the top of the table as the month of March ends.

We would like to thank Adam for the hard work, professionalism, and utmost dedication that he has shown during his time, albeit brief, as head coach and director of coaching at the academy. Everyone connected with the club respects his decision and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.

Despite the timing of our parting with Adam, we are committed to giving our best this season, and we will move forward together. Our goals and objectives remain the same, and we are determined to achieve them. Kaya is known for its “Never say die” attitude. We never give up and we never give in. We know what it means to overcome obstacles, to play with heart, and to keep the dream alive.

The club will not be commenting any further at this time.
