Statement from Adam Reekie

With a heavy heart and after careful consideration, I wish to inform everyone that I have decided to resign my position as Kaya’s head coach, effective immediately, due to irreconcilable differences with the club. I will no longer be coaching Kaya once the league resumes after the Holy Week break. It was not an easy decision to make, but it is in the best interests of the club, the team, and myself. This is the right decision for me, and I hope everyone will respect my decision fully.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the management, players, and staff for their hard work, commitment, and dedication over the last seven months. Kaya is a fantastic club, and being the head coach was an amazing experience that brought fresh challenges and learning experiences. The club and its supporters welcomed me warmly, and it was a privilege to be part of this family. I was truly blessed to work with everyone and will take that experience to my next position.

I also want to thank Ultras Kaya for their support. They are undeniably the country’s most passionate fans, and seeing them cheering the team on at every game was an awe-inspiring spectacle that I will treasure. Football fans should emulate Ultras Kaya because they ride the highs and lows with the club, and it is a demonstration of genuine passion and loyalty.

I believe the future is promising for Kaya, but most of all, I believe in this team. I know that they have the hunger and passion to win. I am proud of the brief time I served as their head coach.

Thank you.
